OPA333AID

Zero-drift, micropower CMOS operational amplifier with 10 microvolt maximum offset and a 1.8 V to 5.5 V supply.

The OPA333AID is a Texas Instruments zero-drift CMOS operational amplifier that uses an autocalibration technique to hold its offset voltage to a maximum of about 10 microvolts while drawing very little current, in a standard SOIC-8 package. The very low offset and near-zero drift over time and temperature make it a natural choice for sensor interfaces, precision instrumentation and current sensing, where a small input error would otherwise limit the accuracy of the whole measurement. It operates from a single supply as low as 1.8 volts, which suits battery-powered and low-voltage products, and its micropower consumption extends battery life in always-on sensing applications. The 350 kHz bandwidth is modest, which is appropriate for the slow, precise signals the part is designed to measure, and the rail-to-rail input and output make it easy to use with a wide range of sensor signals. Because the offset is calibrated continuously, the part is also well suited to designs that must hold accuracy over years without recalibration. Every device is factory-traceable and ships with an import declaration, a certificate of origin and RoHS documentation. BeiLuo holds this part in regional stock and our FAE team supports signal-chain and layout design.

FAE Professional Review

This is the amplifier we recommend when offset and drift dominate a measurement. The autocalibration keeps the offset in the microvolt range without trimming, which saves calibration time and holds accuracy over temperature. It is slow, so it suits sensor and instrumentation signals rather than fast ones, and its low supply makes it easy to power from a small battery. Keep the input trace short and the supply clean.

Frequently Asked Questions

How low is the offset and drift?

The autocalibration holds the offset to a maximum of about 10 microvolts, with near-zero drift over time and temperature, which is why the part suits precision sensing.

That accuracy is achieved without external trimming.

Is the bandwidth enough for my signal?

The 350 kHz bandwidth suits slow, precise signals such as temperature, pressure and current sensing. For faster signals, choose a higher-bandwidth amplifier.

Match the bandwidth to the signal rather than maximizing it.
